The Luxpower SNA6000 off-grid inverter supports DC-DC converter systems, serving as reliable backup power or a diesel generator replacement. With parallel functionality, system capacity scales from 6kW to 96kW. The inverter supports DC-DC converter working modes:
Pure Off-grid working mode: Working as a traditional off grid inverters, can set output to utility first, battery first or solar first.
Hybrid working mode: Working as a DC DC converter hybrid, support solar and utility jointly take the load, can set to self consumption mode or charge priority mode.
FAQ:
1.Why does my Luxpower SNA 6000 inverter consistently discharge at low power even when no load is connected?
A: If the EPS (power backup) function is activated, the SNA inverter may display a load reading (below 60W) even when no load is connected to the EPS output port.
2.What is the recommended Depth of Discharge (DOD) for the battery, and how can it be adjusted?
A: The recommended depth of discharge depends on system design factors such as battery capacity and load consumption.
• For systems with stable grid input targeting 80% DOD:Set the “On-grid cutoff SOC or On-grid EOD” parameter to 20%.
• For off-grid systems or systems with unstable grid input: Set the “Off-grid cutoff SOC or discharge cutoff SOC” parameter to 20%, ensuring it is lower than the “On-grid cutoff SOC” setting.
3. What fault conditions will cause the inverter to shut off its output?
A: Various conditions such as overload, short circuit, photovoltaic overvoltage, overheating, or fan failure may trigger inverter faults, causing it to shut off its output. Any abnormal conditions detected by the DSP will result in the inverter shutting down.
4.Why does the inverter still display voltage even when the battery breaker is turned off?
A: If the battery is operating in Li-ion mode with communication enabled, the voltage data comes from the battery’s BMS. However, if voltage readings persist after the battery breaker is turned off, it may indicate that the battery was recently active or that the inverter is in charging mode.
